This year, the whole world celebrated the 25th anniversary of World Book Day – with the message for all children ‘you are a reader‘!
Reach British School had an amazing #worldbookday celebration that was filled with lots of exciting activities that were focused on promoting reading for pleasure.
Early in the morning, in our drop-off zone, we saw so much creativity as our students came to school dressed up as their favorite book characters. They were very proud and excited to take part in this fun initiative every year. Aside from dressing up they also brought their favorite books with them to read during the day.
Our Senior Leadership team visited classes all day, reading fun and inspiring stories to the students. Our Principal, Mr. Dene Bright, Vice Principal, Mr. Johannes Bodenstein, and our Head of Primary, Mr. Andre Du Lieu, were excited to be sharing their love of reading with so many children.
At Reach, we proudly celebrate World Book Day, but also believe that every day is a reading day.
