Learning the Arabic language is crucial for knowledge development on the one hand and for preserving cultural identity on the other hand. The curriculum of the Arabic language in our school is based on understanding, researching, investigating and asking questions, and it also depends on the curriculum of the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates. The Arabic language course in our school is compulsory for Arab students, while the rest of the students until the ninth grade are taught as a foreign language.
All Muslim students are required to study Islamic education compulsorily. The system used in “British Reach” school guarantees the highest standards in teaching Arabic, by motivating students to participate in activities and projects, and not just by memorizing. We also depend on teaching Islamic education on the method of developing skills with the aim of bringing up independent citizens and a sense of responsibility.
At ISP, learning is at the heart of everything we do, and we want to continually provide the best learning opportunities possible for our students and their families. We believe that as part of our students’ learning journey it is important that they have the chance to experience learning outside of the classroom and connect with other ISP students. As a global group of schools, our students benefit from being part of a wider international community, which provides many additional learning and cultural opportunities.
